 Overview

      The department of Pharmacology is located in the fourth  floor of  Faculty  block building. Our  department   offers training  for150 undergraduate Phase 2 MBBS students as per competency based medical education  curriculum.

As per new curriculum,all students gain holistic knowledge in all the aspects of pharmacology like pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, clinical pharmacology, therapeutics, adverse drug reactions and inculcate the rational and scientific basis of therapeutics

 Also gains skills  in all aspects of clinical pharmacy &clinical pharmacology and experimental pharmacology by using many any simulation based learning and  hands on  training

.As  much neglected part Attidude,Ethics&  communication has been covered through AETCOM classes

         The department of pharmacology  also   function as  Adverse  Drug  Reaction Monitoring centre(ADR monitoring centre) under the  Pharmacovigilance program of India and  also involves  in Institutional  Ethical committee activities.
